Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Nasal Septum : Report of a Case

Abstract

|
Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common type of benign epithelial tumor of the salivary glands. It most frequently involves major salivary glands and the upper aerodigestive tract, whereas it is relative infrequently occurs in the nasal cavity and
extremely rare on the nasal septum. We experienced one case of pleomorphic adenoma arising from anteroinferior portion of the nasal septum in a 42 year old female patient. The tumor was completely removed intranasally without any complication.
